Amusement parks
Amusement parks
After riding lessons, take an afternoon at the best and most beautiful amusement park on the planet. A Sahrendorfer from the Allgäu not only designed the wonderful Heidepark, but now employs falconers, wolves, bears and eagle owls in the legendary Wildpark Lüneburger Heide, a five-minute drive away. There is also the Heidehimmel, which has just opened, which gives those with a head for heights a fabulous view as far as Hamburg. The barefoot park next door is a must. Far away from the athlete’s foot of urban indoor swimming pools, you can run through the spacious forest and meadow sections or jump into the cooling water in the middle of the enchanted, beautiful forest pool Aquadies Egestorf. If a ten-minute walk is too long for you, take two by car. There is another forest bath, in Ollsen in the Waldbad Hanstedt or on the right in front of it at the Köhlerhütte.
Arrival
Notifying your arrival approx. 30 minutes before arrival helps our family business with logistics. The access to the farm is located at Im Sahrendorf 13 and on the residential street Bollberg in the Sahrendorf district of Egestorf. You can unload directly in front of your accommodation if your suitcases are heavy. Please park for free afterwards in our parking lot at the riding arena. Parking in Bollberg is only permitted from the farm gate uphill. Leave the space in front of the barn free for an electric car. Parking is not permitted on unpaved surfaces, such as grass verges.

Baked goods - bread roll service
We offer baked goods specialties including rolls, baguettes and croissants. There are also cold cuts, such as cheese and ham. Simply pre-order here.

Check-In
We need some time to get your holiday apartment ready for you by 3:30 p.m. If you arrive earlier for possible riding lessons, our changing room is of course available to you. Alternatively, you can book an early check-in inexpensively, see price list.
Check-Out
We look forward to receiving a telephone notification for check-out with payment at the Chick-Inn 30 minutes before your planned departure. You will usually receive the invoic in advance by email for review. Your payments are already reflected on the last page of the invoice. The deposit is listed as a continuous item on the invoice and is not charged, but is credited to your payment medium.

Für andere Fälle, z.B. eigene Quarantäne-Verpflichtungen, auf die wir keinen Einfluss haben, können Sie sich separat kostengünstig absichern, z.B. unter diesem Link.
If the legislature has issued a general ban on accommodation, as in the so-called lockdown, you are not obliged to pay and we are not obliged to provide services. In this respect, you will receive your possible deposit back. For other cases, e.g. your own quarantine obligations, over which we have no influence, you can insure yourself separately at low cost, e.g. using this link.

Departure
Before you leave by 10:30 a.m., please remove the bed sheets and place them and the towels in the bathroom. Please dispose of waste separately into material groups “The Green Dot/Yellow Bag”, paper, glass, organic and residual waste. Please turn off the heaters and refrigerator upon departure and open any windows that may have mosquito screens.
If you use the subsequent services that are not included in the room price, we will assume that you agree to the calculation according to the price list. We would like to keep our deposit bottles with us.

Dogs · Etiquette
Your leashed pets are ❤ welcome on your riding holiday!
If you haven’t booked it yet, please book it now. Please see our price list for the costs.
So that you do not incur any additional costs for cleaning, sorting or replacing straw and hay, we would be happy if your pet sits on blankets or dog baskets that you have brought with you, and under no circumstances on the sofa, bed or other furniture.
The dog walk should not take place on the farm, on the lawns or at the horse feed and bedding, neither for number one or number two. Please always remove dog waste within the village limits using the dog bags you bring with you and throw them in our residual waste at the lower farm gate.
Depending on availability, there will be a food pack or treats or food from Terra Canis in your holiday apartment for real “it dogs”. Free to try, of course!
Dogs must be kept on a leash on the farm, the pastures and the entire property. Dogs are not allowed to dig holes on the lawns or pastures. Please do not leave your dog unattended in the holiday apartment, on the property, near horses or in vehicles.
E
E-charging station
You can charge your electric car at our wallbox if you pre-order it. There are further charging options in Egestorf at the forrest pool (Waldbad) and in Bispingen, ski slope.

Equipment
What do you need to bring with you? Cap, riding pants, gloves, boots (with heels and a secure fit over the ankle), headset for the coach phone. We recommend wearing an airbag safety vest. You can find this and much more 20 minutes away in the best-stocked equestrian sports center Loesdau, Am Hatzberg 5, 21224 Rosengarten. The route off the motorway via Buchholz (Google Maps) is not the fastest, but the most beautiful! Depending on availability, we have a voucher available for you. The trendy ea.St. Reggings (“riding leggings”) are also available here on the farm!
We ask for your understanding that we cannot lend out safety equipment. Each rider must bring this with them individually and check it for suitability.

Farm shop
Here you can serve yourself. Simply fill out the order form provided and leave it in our mailbox for detailed billing after departure. Information about your name, holiday apartment and date helps with the assignment and avoids errors.
Food & Groceries
Please always send a warm greeting from Heinshof: Albers slaughterhouse, Egestorf make every sausage themselves, the finest quality by hand. But we freshly slice real Jamon Iberico or raw ham from Graubünden/CH in the morning and afternoon! If you’re lucky, you can get eggs from Herbert Heitmann at his stall “zur Sudermühle”, a 2-minute walk from the Heinshof. Our Heinshof shop is located in our chicken house, with, among other things, Swiss or Heidjer coffee roasts, teas, various Belgian hot and cold chocolates, Mövenpick ice cream, English kettle chips, private beers, exquisite Palatinate organic wines and sparkling refreshments. For the “super late check-in” there are of course delicious things to cook from the Hamburg luxury kitchen Michelsen for the holiday apartment. Or eat it directly in the chicken house! Obstbau Prigge has had a sales stand in the village every Sunday for over (!) 40 years now. There you will find apples from local harvest – original from the Altes Land – seasonal fruit, asparagus in season, and much more. Don’t forget the Heinshof greeting!
Our farmers will be happy if you do your shopping locally and let yourself be surprised by regional heath specialties. What you can’t get from the farms here, Nah & Frisch has it in its well-equipped branded supermarket in neighboring Egestorf, just behind the Waldbad and the Barfußpark/barefoot park. Or why not eat out. It’s your vacation. But it’s better to reserve before your arrival.
Fire protection
In jeder Ferienwohnung befinden sich Brandmelder, Löschdecke und Feuerlöscher. Nichts herrscht hier, außer das Rauchverbot in Ferienwohnung, allen Gebäuden und auf der gesamten Hofstelle. Eine Raucherzone befindet sich am Tor. Wir bitten darum, ggf. vorab beim Deutschen Wetterdienst o.a. zu prüfen, dass keine Waldbrandgefahr besteht.
There are fire alarms, fire blankets and fire extinguishers in every holiday apartment. There is a ban on smoking in the holiday apartment, all buildings and on the entire farm. There is a smoking area at the gate. If necessary, we ask that you check in advance with the German Weather Service or others that there is no risk of forest fire.

You can reach the musical in Hamburg within 30 minutes if the traffic is good. Make your daughter’s dream come true and book evening tickets after riding! Already seen? The Lion King is right next door.
H
Heating
Energy costs are included, but we still politely ask that consumption be modest. Please switch on the instantaneous water heater (Cossma, La Jolie, Max, Moritz) upon arrival. Please only ventilate the apartments when the radiators are switched off. We ask for daily ventilation, especially after showering. If your kids lock the window locks, we will have a key ready for you, but ask that you hand it back to us straight away. We would be happy if you turned off the radiators and refrigerator before you leave.
Horses, brought with you
Please only bring your horse into the booked box if it is healthy. In the months of March to April or in the event of warnings from veterinary offices, we assume that you can present a negative PCR test for herpes type 1 that is up to 48 hours old if no immunization through vaccination can be proven.
The box is available from 3:30 p.m. on the day of arrival. For earlier arrivals, e.g. for horseback riding, etc., various public parking options are available directly at the nature park. Times for rides or lessons can be arranged with us.
We exclude liability damages for the care of your horse and assume that the monetary value of your horse does not exceed €20,000.
Teams or trailers park in the so-called “market area” near our pastures. The pasture gate and the signposted market area would like to remain free. Please attach your padlocks and a trailer lock when parking. We exclude liability. Please contact your insurance company for travel protection.
Self-service, departure times, use of the riding arena, etc. are calculated according to the price list and must be agreed upon in advance with the riding school and proven by placing a “chicken house slip” in the “Chick Inn” mailbox. Please book services online in advance.
The yard will be opened for yard work and loading. Please announce your arrival 30 minutes in advance. After unloading, the trailer or trailer must be driven to the parking lot.
Book lessons at heinshof.eu. If lessons are included, you will receive a credit upon departure according to the booking, depending on the amount of lessons.
Please avoid pawing on the farm and only tie horses to the front of the tethers. Horses are not allowed on the ornamental lawn. Pick up horse manure from paddocks, pastures, farmyards and residential streets. The hand disinfectant dispensers must be used before and after touching third parties’ horses.
House arrest
You may be able to cover possible cancellation costs due to arbitrary bans that prevent your travels by following this link.

Inventory
The costs for the use of towels and bed linen are included in the price of the holiday apartment.
Depending on the booking, all non-smoking apartments can be occupied by up to 2, 4 or 5 guests. Each guest receives a towel, bath towel, covered pillow and covered duvet to use. There is also a bath mat for each bathroom. You will find the beds made up and we politely ask that you remove the sheets before departure (except for the protective covers) and put them in the bathroom. Additional guests, if possible, must be confirmed in advance for a fee, even without an extra bed.
The inventory of the holiday apartment is tailored to your needs: fine bone china porcelain from Rosenthal, Stölzle glasses for sparkling fun and wine. Cutlery and kitchen accessories are not “the old Heidjer”, but are definitely suitable for your private (cooking) duel. Please make sure that no cutlery ends up in the trash or is otherwise lost when clearing away with napkins. When booking several apartments, the completeness per apartment and not overall counts, so we politely ask that you restore the original condition if you want to sit together across apartments while eating.
You will find an inventory list in the built-in cupboard. We will check for you before arrival. Feel free to do this when you arrive!

Parking
Please park for free in our parking lot at the riding arena. This is also the parking space for horse trailers and teams. Parking in Bollberg is only permitted for unloading and day guests from the farm gate uphill. Leave the space in front of the barn free for an electric car. You should not park on unpaved surfaces, such as grass verges.

Prices
When using services, we assume that you agree to the charges according to the price list.
Public Transportation
Bus lines 4611 and 4631 as well as school transport 4615 take you to Heinshof. To enter the route directly, you can find the route timetable here.
From July 15th to October 15th, the Heideshuttle runs free of charge from many train stations, e.g. Buchholz, Lüneburg, Handeloh.
The bus stop called “Sahrendorf, Bollberg” with connections to Hanstedt, Buchholz and Salzhausen is located directly in front of the farm gate. Another stop with a regular service is a 5-10 minute walk away, “Schätzendorf, Rahnstraat“.
The nearest train station is Handeloh. Buchholz in der Nordheide is a little further away, but better connected by bus.

Riding lessons
You can let us know your desired date for riding now or by 12 p.m. the day before using the following link:
We will then get back to you the day before with confirmation, although we politely ask for your understanding that planning for horses is not possible earlier.
With the first riding lesson, everyone (beginners to advanced riders!) book the “saddle assistance” service extra for instruction on saddles and bridles as well as any special features. Beginners also book a basic course before their first riding lesson.
To ensure the greatest possible protection against injury, always book an airbag! This is mandatory when riding. We consider conventional, back-stiffening safety vests to be inadequate or even dangerous and are not permitted on horseback rides.
You make a booking for a period of time (morning/afternoon, preferably all day). The time slot follows the evening before, including where the horse will be picked up and name, coach, etc. Be there at least 1 hour beforehand! You will receive an extra email with the details. The backend and the app for your smartphone are clearer.
The following equipment must be brought with you: cap, riding trousers, gloves, boots (with heels and a secure fit over the ankle), headset for the coach phone (“Walkman earphones”).
Restaurants
1 minute away from the Heinshof you will see Gasthaus Studtmann, where you can enjoy delicious Hochzeitssuppe and wonderful trout with the best tapped beer in the region. Follow guest recommendations, i.e. turn left past it to Hof Sudermühlen. There you can get Bit and Köpi on tap! The Alte Schmiedehof in Undeloh is cozy, new and friendly and casually trendy. Then another glass from our wine selection in the chicken house wine cabinet. Perfect! Ollsen is also a neighboring village and is home to the Gasthof Eiche, a five-minute drive away. A few km further is the Pfeffers – wonderfully tasty and very child-friendly!
Reception
Heinshof is not a hotel in the classic sense and we therefore have neither reception desk nor concierge service. As a new customer, we will welcome you personally during opening hours and, before handing over the keys, we will take a tour of the yard to show you everything at your leisure. Regular customers receive an electronic key from us that they can use to check themselves in.

Shopping
The brand outlet in Soltau scores points with everything that clothing outlets also offer. You can go shopping in the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg. The salt city – and the way to it as well – is incredibly beautiful and foregoes the usual big city hustle and bustle. Hanstedt is perfect for quick shopping. There, about 5 minutes away by car, there is a real department store, like in a big city.

Tack room
The tack room has lockers for your mandatory caps and heeled riding boots. Brings a standard headset (plug: “jack”) for our coaches’ walkie talkies. The horse tethers on the farm should only be used on the fixed side so that the ornamental lawn is not affected.

From July 15th to October 15th the Heideshuttle runs free of charge from many train stations, e.g. Buchholz, Lüneburg, Handeloh.
Train
One of the bus stops with connections to Hanstedt, Buchholz and Salzhausen is right in front of the farm gate. The nearest train stations are Hanstedt and Buchholz in Nordheide.
TV
Your holiday apartment has satellite television with unencrypted or free-to-air programs. You can also swivel the television towards you using the wall mount. There are sources, e.g. for USB ports. Of course, we cannot guarantee or control the functionality of streaming services. Please keep your devices at room volume and be particularly considerate of your neighbors after 10 p.m.

Vacuum cleaner
You can borrow a vacuum cleaner for free for 30 minutes in the Cossma/La Jolie stairwell and in the staff and day guest bathrooms. It’s best to leave your shoes on the shoe rack in front of the apartment. Then your wooden floor stays comfortably clean.
