You learn right away. During the obligatory turnout, tacking up, grooming and riding: correct handling of sensitive creatures is essential. A horse’s character always holds up an honest mirror. You learn about your shortcomings more deeply—through self-reflection.
Stables & pastures
Year-round pasture service on large grass pastures in the heart of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park. Small, well-matched herds ensure perfect social interaction.
Whether sport horse or leisure horse – above-average large stalls with excellent air and light conditions, fitted with rubber flooring without trip hazards, provide optimal conditions when the horse comes home.
Riding style & attitude
Sport and leisure horses at our riding stable regularly go on trail rides and into the water. Here and in the arenas, Team Linda Naeve teaches the typical fine and positive English riding style—for dressage sport and show-jumping lessons as well as leisure riding.
Whether you ride professionally or want to learn leisure riding, in your riding lessons you will come into complete harmony with the horse.
Unlike strong aids and incorrect holding on the reins, you release the horse from the often familiar, misunderstood, rigid frame. You ride our school horses, lease horses, sale horses, or your own horse in a light riding style with fine aids and correct balance. This way, every horse is worked correctly and shaped positively for every performance level.
Care & health
The horses are cared for individually. We pass on optimal practical knowledge to our customers, who always feel included in our professionalism.
Our horses receive expert support and preventive care at short intervals of 3–6 weeks from various practitioners, including osteopathy, acupuncture and energy work. Farriers work every 6 weeks to provide professional shoeing, sometimes based on assessments using plans and images specially made for the hoof alignment. Conventional veterinary medicine is used in harmony and in coordination with homeopathy and herbal medicine (“God’s pharmacy”).
Equipment & safety
Top equipment for every horse. That’s our motto! This includes hand-crafted French saddles individually fitted to each horse from our long-standing supplier CWD.
Safety stirrups release your foot as quickly as possible, provide cushioning, and protect the horse’s back and your joints.
We recommend riding with airbag vests for everyone. The Helite rider airbags are safety-certified and you can rent or buy them from us.
You won’t find noseband straps with us, nor constant riding with draw reins. The bits are as soft as possible and adapted to the horse’s mouth.
Service & staff
Daily mucking out, with manure of such good quality that it is reused: bioenergy, field fertilizer and secondary bedding in livestock farming.
Best-quality hay and tailored minerals individually with herbs… In winter, the sport horses receive various rugs matched to temperature and weather, which are cleaned regularly.
