Riding stables for returning riders and families – small groups, personal care
If you want to get back in the saddle after years away, you need a place where doing so doesn’t feel like an ordeal. No mass operation, no oversized groups, no sense of being assessed or compared. Heinshof in the Lüneburg Heath is precisely that place.
Why returning riders belong at Heinshof
Returning riders often carry more uncertainty than complete beginners – because they know how riding should feel but find their body has forgotten. Head trainer Linda Naeve-Haht understands this dynamic and addresses it directly:
- No comparison with other riders
- Individual assessment – your own seat, balance and feel
- Top-class school horses that are forgiving of mistakes and rebuild confidence
- A pace that the rider determines – not the course schedule
Small groups as a quality standard
Heinshof deliberately teaches in small groups. This is not a marketing claim but a deliberate choice: Linda Naeve-Haht wants to know every rider and every horse. Group sizes are set so that genuine learning is possible.
Families: where everyone can participate together
At Heinshof, families do not need to split into separate programmes. Parents and children can ride at the same time – on level-appropriate school horses, guided by Linda Naeve-Haht and her team. Evenings are spent together in one of the 8 holiday apartments directly on the estate.
Safety: the foundation of relaxed riding
- All school horses regularly assessed by osteopaths and vets
- Custom-made CWD saddles – no horse is ridden in ill-fitting equipment
- Airbag vests available in the pro shop – to purchase or hire
- Maximum weight for riding lessons: 80 kg
