How do I get to Heinshof farm?
The farm is located only one hour from the airports of Hamburg, Bremen or Hanover. We have closed special shuttle service rates with a taxi company for you. For this service we need your flight details in advance. Also you can travel by bus and train to directly in front of the courtyard, which takes about 2.5 hours.
Is there a restaurant on the farm?
We have bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance in direct neighborhood.
Do I have to be a horse back rider?
Even if you first learn riding at Heinshof farm, you will discover the versatility of our national park! The famous game park, rollercoasterpark “Heidepark” or Original Schumacher’s Kartbahn are very closed by. Two forest baths, a barefoot park and endless picnic grounds lie directly behind the farm.
How do I get to the neighboring village with supermarket, church, bank etc.?
There are regular bus services. Our taxi company offers a special shuttle service for rates of €4 to €5 per tour only (schedule). We are more than happy to assist you.

What kind of horses are there on Heinshof farm?
You will ride on our well trained high-quality tournament/show horses.
Where is a supermarket?
Our farm shop has everything important at very fair prices what you need for the arrival and the first day. To ensure you do not miss out on the local specialties, we recommend you to make your purchases only after your arrival. Everything you will not find here, or with our neighboring farmers, you will find in the supermarket in the neighboring village Egestorf.
